Diabolus in Muzaka This is the type of rehearsal tape Slayer Mag would've been raving about if it dropped in the 90s. Excellent stuff. Favorite track: Hostis Humani Generis (rehearsal).

r2 All Dead Congregation albums slay, but this one is my favorite. It’s raw, evil, and incredibly heavy.
Erik Gordier

Erik Gordier DC at their most raw, bare boned fury. Must have for Congregation fans. Favorite track: Perennial Blasphemous Affliction (rehearsal).
Static Trance
Static Trance thumbnail
Static Trance Few metal bands (none come to my mind actually) in this day and age of pro tools and advanced studio trickery have the balls to make a move like this. My deepest respect goes out to Dead Congregation. They've got their shit down so hard it's unbelievable. And once again they make the rest of the scene look like a whining bunch of posers in comparison.

about

Captured live at rehearsal sometime in June 2005, completely unedited, devoid of overdubs and any mixing treatment whatsoever - this is Dead Congregation in their rawest form. PLAY LOUD!
Most of the songs were at early stages and some got slightly altered later on. ‘Morbid Paroxysm’ and
‘Vanishing Faith’ were respectively titled ‘Into Paramount Chaos’ and
‘Diabolical Indignation’ at the time. Final versions of all songs were
recorded during the ‘Graves of the Archangels’ sessions.
